Are you passionate about changing the way customers think about grocery shopping? Amazon is seeking a bright, customer-obsessed, and motivated individual to join the innovative Amazon Fresh team as a Business Analyst.

In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for building scalable reports, diving deep into data, and delivering actionable insights to inform the business strategy. You will partner closely with talented cross-functional teams, including Marketing Managers, Business Intelligence Engineers, Program Managers, and Product Managers, to help drive the growth and success of Amazon Fresh.

This is an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment, more akin to a startup than a large corporation. You will have the opportunity to wear many hats, embrace change, and solve complex problems in short order. Key Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide regular updates on the performance of Amazon Fresh

Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business challenges and propose data-driven solutions

Conduct market research and competitive analyses to stay informed on industry trends and best practices

Build financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making

Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner

Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

  • 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience

  • 3+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience

  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

  • Experience in displaying complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner

  • Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience

  • 5+ years of business or financial analysis experience

  • 5+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience

  • Prior experience in Retail, Consumables, and/or Supply Chain Management industry

  • Proficient in a programming language (e.g., Python) for automation of data extraction, processing, and computation

  • Experience working with AWS products and environment (e.g., Redshift, S3)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
