AWS Americas Industry Team is seeking a Manufacturing Industry Leader to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will:

  • Work with our strategic partners to lead and execute the AWS Manufacturing business

  • Drive joint Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy with partners

  • Help manufacturing customers solve their business problems.

As the Head of Manufacturing - Americas, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning and managing the Manufacturing Partner business for the Americas region

  • Managing the Manufacturing industry partner pipeline.

  • Contributing to the Manufacturing partner ecosystem strategy

  • Managing strategic relationships with influential Technology (Independent Software Vendor) and Consulting (Global Systems Integrator/Systems Integrator) partners

  • Driving CXO-level relationships with manufacturing customers and partners

To be successful in this role, you should have deep experience in one or more of the following manufacturing sub-industries: Discrete, Process, Consumer Goods (CPG), and Pharma.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Working with technical concepts along with the Manufacturing consulting services landscape

  • Thinking strategically about new business models, solution selling, and partner engagement to help build and convey compelling value propositions for AWS customers through AWS Partners

  • Influencing innovation through partners with solutions and utilizing other program successes

  • Thinking differently and daring to deliver the best overall solutions and business models

Key job responsibilities

Be part of the Americas Industry Team to drive the overall global AWS Manufacturing partner strategy to our internal and external stakeholders including the AWS sales teams, partner sales, as well as media coverage and industry events.

Executing the Global Manufacturing Partner strategic plan for the Americas which includes aligning with partner development managers and account managers who manage our top AWS technology and consulting companies.

Build C-level relationships with our top Manufacturing customers, and partners.

Execute go-to-market and routes-to-market plans that have clear and measurable Return on Investment (ROI).

Represent the AWS Manufacturing partner strategy internally and externally including presenting at Executive Briefings and Conferences.

Prioritize AWS investment in partners who focus on Manufacturing, including leading startups, consulting companies, and established ISV/Software as a Service (SaaS) technology vendors.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

  • 10+ years deep industry work experience with a large Manufacturing company in a Line-of-Business (LoB) leadership role

  • Additional experience in consulting or business development specifically with Manufacturing companies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
